Goal: get cited
Become the source AI assistants quote.
When an assistant answers a question in your field, it pulls from a handful of sources. search.co shows which pages those are, why they were chosen, and what to change so your pages join them.

Why citations matter
Being cited usually comes before being recommended.
AI assistants answer from sources. When they link to a page, that page shaped the answer. Brands that are cited for the questions in their field tend to be the ones assistants go on to name.
Getting cited is not luck. Assistants favor pages that answer the question directly, make clear what an entity is and does, carry structured data, and appear in sources the assistant already relies on. Each of those can be measured, and each can be improved.
Citation tracking
See which pages get cited, for which questions.
Track the prompts your buyers ask across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. For each answer we record whether you were named and which URLs were cited, yours and competitors’.

Trusted sources
Get into the sources AI already trusts.
For many questions, assistants cite the same few kinds of sites again and again: industry roundups, directories, forums and reference pages. If you are mentioned there, you have a path into the answer even before your own page is cited.
The citations view counts which domains each assistant cites for your prompts. Backlink gap then shows which of those sites already mention your competitors.

AI readiness
Make your pages easy for an assistant to use.
The site audit includes AI-readiness checks alongside technical and on-page issues. It flags pages AI crawlers cannot reach, answers buried in long paragraphs, missing structured data and unclear entity details.

Entities and structured data
Make it clear who you are and what you know.

Ask Brigham
Ask why someone else got the citation.
Brigham.ai runs the prompt, reads the cited pages and compares them with yours.
Competitor A has a pricing page with ranges in a table and FAQ markup, and it appears in two industry roundups Perplexity cites often. SEO.co mentions pricing only on the contact page, with no numbers. No assistant cites anyone without real ranges for this question.

Can you guarantee that AI assistants will cite us?
No. Assistants choose sources themselves and their answers change. We show what the cited pages have in common and where you fall short, so you can focus on changes that tend to help.
Which assistants do you track?
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. You choose the prompts and how often they run.
Does structured data really matter for AI?
It helps an assistant understand what a page is about and who published it. It is one factor among several, which is why we check it alongside content, entities and sources.
How is this different from ranking on Google?
Related but not the same. Pages that rank well are often cited, but assistants also lean on roundups, forums and reference sites. We track both so you can see where they differ.
