Every site that ranks well has tested topics, formats and page types for years. Domain research lets you read those results. You see which pages earn traffic, which keywords they win, and how that changed over time, without guessing from the outside.

That turns planning into a short list of decisions. If a rival’s pricing guide drives a fifth of its traffic and you have no pricing page, that is your next project. If their blog traffic fell after an update while their service pages grew, you know where search engines are sending visitors in your market.

Sorted by impact

  1. 1

    Build a cost calculator page

    2 days

Their calculator ranks #2 for a high-volume pricing term. You have no page targeting it.

  2. 2

    Lift five page-two keywords

    Half day each

Five keywords sit at #11 to #14. A page scan shows each needs more depth on pricing and timelines.

  3. 3

    Merge overlapping blog posts

    3 hrs

Three posts compete for “hire developers”. Combining them gives Google one clear page to rank.

  • No history, so no idea what changed
