Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Search.co ("Search.co," "we," "us") provides a multi-agent research platform. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, and authentication identifiers (e.g. from GitHub or Google if you use them).
- Workspace & research content — the targets, workflows, runs, sources, reports, and other content you create.
- API keys (BYOK) — provider and connector keys you add. These are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never shown again after saving.
- Usage & billing data — model/connector usage, cost events, and (if you subscribe) billing details processed by Stripe.
- Technical data — IP address, device/browser info, and logs used for security and reliability.
3. How we use it
To operate the service, run your research workflows, route tasks to AI models, commit output to repositories you connect, meter and bill usage, secure the platform, and communicate with you (e.g. account, security, and run-completion emails).
4. Third-party processors
When you run research, content and prompts are sent to the AI providers and source connectors you select (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others), subject to their terms and privacy policies. We also use infrastructure and service providers including our hosting provider, Stripe (billing), Resend (email), and error/monitoring tooling. GitHub integration transmits research output to repositories you authorize.
5. Your BYOK keys & data control
Keys you bring are used only to make requests on your behalf and are stored encrypted. You can delete keys and research data at any time. Deleting a workspace removes its associated research content.
6. Data retention
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
7. Security
We use encryption at rest for secrets, workspace isolation, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
